Melissa Brettingen

Melissa Brettingen was raised in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Melissa had previously been to chiropractors to help with whiplash she had experienced in high school and running injuries in college. She received her degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh and taught for three years.

After a year of living in Georgia her interest in chiropractic grew as her health dramatically improved while under chiropractic care. The summer before her fourth year as a teacher she was offered a position at one of the most innovative chiropractic clinics in the world, Vital Atlanta. There she was in charge of making new patients feel welcome in the center, doing their initial evaluations, education and much more. The chiropractic side of Vital Atlanta was owned and operated by Life University and because of this Melissa had the opportunity to receive some of the most cutting edge and renowned training health care has to offer. Vital Atlanta is also the home to Atlanta’s only free standing natural birth clinic, The Atlanta Birth Center. This gave Melissa the opportunity to work with many pregnant women, newborns and children.

Melissa is excited to call Minnesota her new home and bring health to the masses of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro. When Melissa  is not in the office, you can find her running the Minnesota trails with friends and family, at the farmers market finding local fare, drinking coffee or at her favorite yoga studio.
